KITCHEN DESIGN
INDEPENDENT
Their designer works for them. I work for you.
For everyone who’s been saying “we’ll get to the kitchen eventually” for three years now.
Meet Angela
Nearly 20 years in kitchen design, architecture, and construction — and no product to sell you. I come to your home, design around how you actually cook, and tell you the truth about what things cost. Niagara through Burlington.
“Free” Kitchen design is never actually free.
It's just buried in the price of the cabinets. Showrooms can hand you a free design because the design is already paid for — by you, in the quote, as a line item you'll never see.
So I charge a design fee. On purpose.
It means I can send you to a different cabinet maker than the one I used last month, tell you the upgrade isn't worth it, or talk you out of something you'd regret — and lose nothing by doing it. I have relationships with makers at every price point, and I've already done the comparison shopping you'd otherwise spend six weekends on.
My fee usually pays for itself in the first quote. I’ve seen the same kitchen come back thousands of dollars apart from two different cabinet makers.
START HERE —
You’ve wanted to do this for long enough.
You already know the kitchen isn’t working. You’ve just never had anyone to answer your questions honestly — so it’s easier to do nothing. Start with a conversation. I’ll tell you what I’d do with your space and what it would cost, and you can decide from there.
HONEST ANSWERS TO REAL QUESTIONS
-
Cabinet companies have one goal: sell you their cabinets. I have one goal: get you the right kitchen. That might mean a different cabinet maker entirely. I've done the comparison work already — across suppliers at every price point. You benefit from years of relationships you'd never have on your own.
-
Because when a designer earns from cabinet sales, they're a salesperson with a sketchpad. My fee is the only reason my advice stays uncompromised. Most clients find it saves far more than it costs in avoided mistakes and better purchasing decisions.
-
Yes. I work across budget ranges — that's part of the point. I know where to invest more and where the affordable option is just as good. That knowledge is worth more than my fee at any budget.
-
That's exactly why I exist. We start with a conversation. I come to you. We talk about how you use your kitchen, what frustrates you, what you love. From there, I handle the complexity. You've been putting this off long enough.
-
That’s usually the real problem — not the cabinets, not the counters. Bad layouts are why you’re always in each other’s way and never have anywhere to put the cutting board. Fixing that is the first thing I do, and it’s the part that changes your daily life the most.
Layouts that finally make sense.
